Zoho's ManageEngine is an IT management enterprise planning to grow its Indian workforce by 1000 employees in 2022. The organization has been in the country for two decades now, and most of its hires have been in customer-facing and software development roles. These positions have been made available across most metropolitan cities like- Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Bangalore. As part of its expansion plans, the company also plans to open three new data centres in India. These centres will see an investment of over USD 15 Million.
The co-founder and CEO of Zoho, Sridhar Vembu has stated that their company is heavily interested in investing in the research and development sector and integration and product design sectors. They aim to provide these services to their customers, who can speed up their digital transformation journey. Vembu also highlighted that these investments are primarily made so that their customers can better navigate the fast-changing tech landscape with the help of reliable partners. The co-founder and vice president of engineering at Zoho, Shailesh Davey, has exclaimed that "In India, we registered a YoY revenue growth of 63.2% in 2021, while our customer count increased by 26.3%, driven by demand primarily from the BFSI and IT services and solutions sectors,". He also said that these three key aspects serve as a driving factor for the firm. They include work, cloud adoption and the government's support in such operations.
The 1000 employees that Managenenige is looking to hire in India are predominantly in customer-facing, research and development and software development roles. In an interview with Dataquest, the president of ManageEngine, Rajesh Ganesan, stated that the notion of nurturing talent was a responsibility. He exclaimed that their company does not believe in complaining about the lack of skill in the market but instead chooses to promote the existing talent to rise to their fullest potential. He stated that the company aims to hire talent and help them fulfil their roles by mentoring them in the right direction.
